It’s no secret that being a teenager is tough, but finding out just how tough it is can be a little hard to believe.  So, here are 6 reasons why the “worst time of your life” is the real deal!

1. Nonstop Exposure

In the world of the Internet there is a constant flow of knowledge and information. Even if teens choose not to use it, it would be like telling them to stay in a room throughout high school. This is not realistic. You continue the internet world and see everything that is displayed, be it positive or negative. Unfortunately, the negatives can corrupt your mindset. When a teenager is at home, he/she is in an emergency shelter. Intimidation. They are exposed to porn and violence at such a tender age without even knowing what they are doing. For the most part, teenagers are breaking the habit of looking at pornography. Consequently, the innocence of childhood is being curtailed, even though  adulthood is years away.

2. Bullying

Not only cyber bullying, but also young people of the same age are often cruel. Bullying happens at all ages and everywhere. However, their intensity is high during school time. It can get seriously traumatic. Pressured by family and parents to meet certain standards and hobbies, the teenager faces backlash. Teenage life is like a minefield, full of nasty bombs that can be dangerous if a teen steps on them. Bullying on social media  is also inevitable in this regard.
